France have named an all-star attack as the defending champions seek to retain their crown in Qatar.
Despite entering the tournament under a cloud of injuries, the France manager has named Karim Benzema to his squad.
Wales have also named their squad for the country’s first World Cup appearance in 64 years, with Gareth Bale set to lead the attack.
More team announcements should arrive quickly and in droves in the coming days.
This year teams can include 23 to 26 players, down from the previous maximum of 23 after the Covid-19 pandemic – in line with rule changes that allow five substitutions instead of three.
The deadline to submit squads to FIFA is 5am AEDT on Tuesday, November 15, with FIFA due to publicly announce all squad lists later in the day.
But most teams will be revealing their squads well before that, with Australia’s announcement coming at 4pm AEDT on Tuesday, November 8.
Teams can also replace a seriously injured or ill player (including with Covid-19) up to 24 hours before their first World Cup match. We’ll update the teams below if that happens.
