Are you a higher education institution that actively works to promote academic integrity? Have you found any solutions to promote / safeguard academic integrity during COVID-19?
The Department of Education of the Council of Europe has launched a call for best practices to promote academic integrity in higher education institutions in Europe as part of its new good practice program. The call focuses on solutions found to promote academic integrity during the COVID-19 crisis in the following categories:
- Teach and learn
- Politics
- Procedures
- Communication
- Governance / structures
- Training
Who can apply?
Higher education institutions recognized as part of the education system of one of the 50 states party to the European Cultural Convention, as well as student unions, can apply.
How to register?
See the application procedure and the list of documents to be provided in section VI âHow to apply?â of the call for candidates.
Applicants should fill in the relevant details and information and send all documents in English or French in electronic form (Word and / or PDF) to the following email address: etined@coe.int
Applications must be received before August 20, 2021 (at 11:59 p.m. CEST). Applications received after the above date will not be considered. Emails should contain the following reference in the subject line: “Call for Best Practices in Promoting Academic Integrity During COVID-19”
Responding to this call will allow higher education institutions to showcase and publicize their practices, draw attention to them and perhaps even inspire others. The selected cases will be published and disseminated, and an award ceremony will be organized in Strasbourg or online at the end of autumn 2021.
