French group raises funds to support vaccination against Covid-19 in Cuba

With its appeal, the association with more than six decades of support for the Cuban Revolution joined the invitation launched in mid-April by the French association Cuba Linda, which announced a few days ago that approximately 13,000 euros had been collected from the first days of donations.

In this sense, the association underlined the goal of the Cuban government to immunize the entire population before the end of 2021, for which it will need millions of syringes and needles, in the midst of the impact. the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.

According to the association, Cuban authorities have launched a campaign to buy 10 million of these medical supplies in China with the support of European Solidarity, an initiative coordinated by MediCuba-Suiza, an entity that has supported Cuba in the sector for more than two years. decades.

At the end of April and in May, the French associations registered for the fundraising plan to make transfers to MediCuba-Suisse.
