All components are produced in-house at NORD‘s manufacturing facilities to ensure the highest level of quality. MAXXDRIVE units also feature large roller bearings which increase load capacity, reduce friction and provide long component life.
Not only are MAXXDRIVEs powerful enough to handle the toughest applications, they are also highly versatile with a wide range of standard configuration options and numerous input, foot, flange and shaft mounting options , as well as compatibility with NEMA and IEC adapters. The MAXXDRIVE XT also offers a symmetrical mirror-image design which reduces the number of replacement gear units that need to be stocked. A variety of cooling and heating options provide drives with flexible temperature management that extends lubricant life and efficiency.
MAXXDRIVE units also offer a wide range of options, including a fastener kit, protective cover, torque support, sensors for monitoring temperature, vibration, speed and level of oil, an oil heater or cooler, and many more. Additionally, these units can also be equipped with NORD’s Endurance Package, which adds additional performance and safety features to further protect operators, transported materials and gear unit components.
