Mayor – News – October 2021 – NORD to host annual Halloween celebration for youth and families


NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Department of Recreation (NORTH) commission invites residents to celebrate Halloween at three drive-through events across town on Friday, October 29, 2021. Each event will feature spooky and whimsical decorations, gifts from community partners and candy for youth. Costumes and vehicle decorations are encouraged. In addition, all NORD recreation centers will distribute candy to neighborhood youth. All activities are free for the public and will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

  • Joe W. Brown Park – 5601, boul. in New Orleans East
  • Lafitte Greenway – 2200 Lafitte Ave. 2.6 mile linear park located in the heart of New Orleans
