Nominations are open for the City’s Community Recognition Award

The City’s Cultural Vitality Committee will accept applications until June 13

The City’s Cultural Vitality Committee is accepting nominations for the Community Recognition Award.

Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13.

The award celebrates long-term commitment and innovation in the city’s arts and culture community.

The Cultural Vitality Committee is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the Community Recognition Award. Completed application forms must be received no later than 4:30 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2022.

The Community Recognition Award is offered annually by the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie on the recommendation of the Cultural Vitality Committee for activities deemed particularly exceptional or innovative, or that have demonstrated a long-term commitment to arts and culture as defined in the Sault Ste. Married.

Eligible applicants include individuals, groups or community organizations. Nominators may only make one nomination each year.
