These images reveal the OnePlus 10 Ultra’s alleged periscope lens in its extended camera bump
The design of the OnePlus 10 Ultra was revealed in alleged patent images last week. And based on these sketches, LetsGoDigital released some concept renders of the device. These images reveal the OnePlus 10 Ultra’s purported periscope lens in its extended camera bump, curved punch-hole display on the front, and various buttons on the side, including an alert slider. Well, another OnePlus device that will not have the alert slider is the soon to be launched OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. And the same site has also released concept renders of this handset apart from reiterating its supposed specs.
So, let’s continue rolling out these illusory renders of the two OnePlus smartphones.
OnePlus 10 Ultra design and specs (planned)
At first glance, the OnePlus 10 Ultra might look a lot like the Pro model. Well, there is, but there are also differences, naturally and supposedly. The border has a punch cutout at the top left and seemingly narrow bezels.
As for the back, the camera panel blends into the side frame, well, a bit, as there’s a subtle seam. Anyway, new to this arrangement is the rectangular housing for the periscope zoom lens. Now, the zoom capability of this one is something unclear at the moment. There are rumors that it would be 3.3x (like the Pro variant) or even 5x optical (according to the latest concepts). We will have to wait for corroborating evidence.
Now, the other two cameras could borrow the same 48MP main sensor and a 50MP 150˚ ultrawide sensor. Additionally, the OnePlus 10 Ultra could use Oppo’s MariSilicon NPU which could bring better dynamic range, noise reduction, improved detail and real-time RAW processing in 4K videos.
Inside, the Ultra phone would feature either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the intended successor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. On top of that, the software could be an OxygenOS 12 adjacent to ColorOS 12 in global markets including India.
Then there are renders of the OnePlus Core Edition phone—
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G design and specifications (planned)
The new Nord CE 2 concept render features the phone’s alleged 6.43-inch 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification, 64+8+2MP triple rear cameras with 4K30FPS video capability and its two colors, to know. Gray sierra and green woods. As for the internals, the site mentions the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset and 4500mAh battery with 65W charging support.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 10 Pro has yet to launch in India, but its BIS certification was recently spotted. Additionally, other OnePlus phones like the Nord 2T and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G are recently making rounds hinting at a launch sooner rather than later.
