OnePlus Nord gets May security patch and tons of bug fixes with new update

OnePlus has released the OxygenOS update for OnePlus Nord, which increases the level of the Android security patch on the mid-ranger until May 2021 and improves the Wi-Fi connection speed.

In addition, the new version contains several bug fixes related to the camera, system and file manager. You can check out the full update changelog below for more details:

  • System
    • Fixed the issue that the card coupon is not available as a widget
    • Fixed issue where missed calls are marked as answered call on another device in call logs
    • Fixed known issues and improved system stability
    • Android security patch update to 2021.05
  • Network
    • Improved Wi-Fi connection speed
  • Camera
    • Fixed an abnormal display of the preview in Nightscape Tripod mode
    • Fixed the issue where the camera was unresponsive when setting the profile picture in Contact
    • Fixed frame drop issue with videos taken by the camera
    • Fixed the occasional issue that the Flash effect could fail in certain scenarios
    • Fixed the occasional issue that the Flash effect could fail in certain scenarios
  • File manager
    • Fixed abnormal display issue when copying files to OTG storage

OnePlus is currently offering the update to a limited number of users, and a larger rollout will begin in a few days if all goes well. And when you get OxygenOS on your Nord, make sure your device has at least 3 GB of internal storage and a battery level above 30% before installing the firmware.

Also note that there are different versions for Indian, European and World units, sport version numbers, and, respectively.
