Oppo A57 could be launched as OnePlus Nord rebranded smartphone

OnePlus plans to launch several smartphones this year. The company has focused on expanding its affordable category, namely the “Nord” device portfolio across the globe. According to new developments, a new Nord device may be coming soon. This next Nord device we are talking about could be the new name Oppo A57.

Note that Oppo A57 is also expected to launch in India soon. The device had already been launched in the Thai market.

OnePlus Nord device that could be the new name Oppo A57

According to a report from Gizmochina, a new OnePlus smartphone has been spotted within the FFC authority. The listing revealed key information about the device. According to FCC documents, the upcoming OnePlus smartphone has the model number – CPH2469. It is a 4G LTE device.

Additionally, the document reveals that Oppo allows OnePlus to market an Oppo device under its brand. The Oppo device that OnePlus picks up has the model number CPH2387. For those unaware, model number CPH2387 corresponds to the Oppo A57 which was recently launched in Thailand and is also making its way to India.

The OnePlus phone that will be renamed Oppo A57 will likely be a Nord smartphone and will fall into the affordable category. Further details were not disclosed.

But it is safe to assume that the OnePlus device will not be the exact copy of the Oppo device. OnePlus would certainly modify the smartphone enough to look like its own. Moreover, there is the OxygenOS which gives a different feel than the ColorOS on Oppo smartphones.

But on the hardware side, the OnePlus device could feature the exact same specs as the Oppo A57. Since the device has already been launched in Thailand, we can know what to expect in terms of display, processor, camera, and battery.

This upcoming OnePlus smartphone might be the most affordable device the company has ever launched.
