PMA 1983 class donates food items for community pantries in the NCR

MANILA – The Class of 1983 Philippine Military Academy (PMA) donated food items to Joint Task Force-National Capital Region (JTF-NCR) for distribution to various community offices in Metro Manila.

Brig. JTF-NCR chief General Marcellano Teofilo received donations from 1983 PMA class president and Home Secretary Bernardo Florece during a ceremony at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City on Tuesday.

The donation includes 150 bags of rice, 6,000 cans of sardines and 6,000 packets of instant noodles.

Teofilo thanked the members of the PMA Class of 1983 for their charity, sympathy and commitment to serving the Filipino people in these difficult times.

Florece said donations are just “a simple way for their class to reach out to the community.”

“We would like to thank the 1983 PMA ‘Matikas’ class for this generous donation. It just proves that no one has a monopoly on generosity, ”said Major General Benedict Arevalo, Deputy Chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. personnel for civil-military operations. (PNA)
