With the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G, the South Korean smartphone maker is clearly aiming to tackle the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, which was launched recently in India. The Chinese smartphone maker will soon unveil the liter version, dubbed OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. And also the OnePlus 10R.

Features

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G succeeds the Galaxy M52 and brings many improvements. First of all, the phone is very well balanced and light despite the presence of a 5000 mAh battery inside. Notably, this one also does not come with a charger.

The specifications are the same as the global version. It comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rate. It comes in two colors green and blue.

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Software-wise, the phone runs on Android 12 One UI 4.2 out of the box. Samsung offers 2 years of operating system updates and 4 years of security updates.

The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery supporting 25W charging, but there is no charger in the box.
On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G features a quad-camera system consisting of a 108-megapixel main sensor paired with an 8-megapixel sensor and 2-megapixel macro and depth. This makes the Galaxy M53 5G the first device in the series to feature a 108-megapixel sensor. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
